The Vision of Unstoppable
The Big Picture and Vision we have at Unstoppable focuses on three key aspects:
1. Simple UI/UX and easy access to DeFi
We want to empower people through DeFi.
Until our mums and dads, non-techie friends and possibly even grandmas aren’t able to own their own money, get some yield on their hard earned savings or are able to invest into crypto without shooting themselves in the foot, we aren’t done.
We don’t succumb to the illusion that that will happen overnight, but we are talking Big Picture and Vision here.
Simple UI/UX is therefore one of the key drivers in everything we build.
The initial products will still be dApps that require knowledge of wallets and keys and transactions and gas and the first users will definitely be crypto natives, but the goal is to build these products in a way so they can later be integrated into existing normie-friendly wallet solutions.
The Unstoppable:Wallet is one of the end goals in this regard to get the perfect DeFi product into the hands of anybody with a smart phone.
It’s a smart contract based wallet that offers everything from social key recovery to free gasless transactions, from direct on-ramps to integrated credit-card off-ramp and fills the gap we still see in regards to enduser friendly onboarding and mass adoption. This had been the focus of our previous work but moved to the backlog for now while we develop the ideal DeFi products first.
2. Low Risk, High Reward Products
The second key focus we have at Unstoppable is to find the perfect balance between not risk losing your investment, while still making it worth your while.
In crypto it is all about risk management and survival. If you wipe out your portfolio in a day, it doesn’t matter when the next bull run starts.
But as long as you can stay in the game, you will eventually be able to reap the rewards of the space and this amazing opportunity we’re presented with.
That means that at Unstoppable
a) Security is of utmost importance
b) We never expose the principal investment to unnecessary risks
Instead we focus on a Barbell Strategy approach, the principal generates low risk returns or provides low risk liquidity or time debt (we’ll get more into this when we introduce the Unstoppable:Loans). The higher risk, higher reward part of the strategy then tries to capture outsized returns using the generated funds only.
This way you never lose your principal investment and we only expose the generated yields to higher risk opportunities.
It’s like HODL’ing, just better.
Right now, we are building different products and integrations, from low risk to high risk to infrastructure in order to have the foundations in place for this Big Picture Vision of the ideal DeFi product(s) that will tie it all together.
Once we’ve built that, the focus will switch to getting it also widely adopted — after all what good is a product that nobody knows about and isn’t used. The product and its unique properties will make it attractive for anybody, from DAO treasuries to institutional investors and most importantly the aforementioned endusers and mass market.
We’ll set up specific channels for each of them to make sure not just the product UX is simple, but the onboarding process just as much.
3. Giving back
Last but not least, another key aspect of Unstoppable will be the Giving Back. We all are incredibly lucky to be here and in a position where all we have to worry about is whether crypto goes up or down. We are acutely aware of this and of the fact that there are many out there who are in a less fortunate position and we really want to make sure that we give back.
Make money and do good.
We already started in the spirit of this, by making our first product the Unstoppable GLP Autocompounder free to use.
But as soon as we launch our actual revenue producing products, we’ll also launch the “Degens For Charity” fund, a fund intended to use this amazing opportunity called DeFi to grow and make donations on a regular basis to good causes chosen by our community, contributors, us and anybody interested in giving back.
